light of mine

on and off
flicker flicker
goes my light switch
quicker quicker
light in darkness
can you tell
it's in the corner
where it dwells

it stands there burning
brighter brighter
darkness leaves
it's lighter lighter
gather closer,
gentle blaze
seeing clearly
through this haze

never placing
under under
or the world will
wonder wonder
placing firmly
